This removes all Mail Accounts and Mail Folders from Mail and when you open Mail it will be blank. the V2 folder can be found here: ~\/Library\/Mail\/V2<\/li>\n<li>Delete the email\u00a0accounts\u00a0(Gmail, exchange\u00a0server etc.)\u00a0using\u00a0System\u00a0Preferences&gt;Internet\u00a0Accounts<\/li>\n<li>Re-start Mail.\u00a0 It\u00a0now\u00a0re-starts as\u00a0if\u00a0for\u00a0the\u00a0first\u00a0time\u00a0and\u00a0asks to\u00a0re-input the mail\u00a0accounts<\/li>\n<li>Mail\u00a0up\u00a0and\u00a0running\u00a0again<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;4.0.11&#8243; custom_margin=&#8221;-24px|auto||auto||&#8221; custom_padding=&#8221;2px|||||&#8221;][et_pb_column type=&#8221;4_4&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.0.11&#8243;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.0.11&#8243; min_height=&#8221;326px&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/haritomedia.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/ImportMailboxes-300x194-1.png\" width=\"300\" height=\"194\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1607 alignleft size-full\" \/>Part two was to re-import all mail folders. The workaround would be to begin this whole process by using the \u201cExport Mailbox\u2026\u201d (Tab can be found under \u201cMailbox\u201d), and in the next window that opens tick on \u201cExport all subfolders\u201d. This works only if your Mail program was still functioning to a certain degree.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>If your Mail program was not starting up anymore and you had to force quit it this cannot be done. Then there is another option to import the subfolders: OSX is hiding some files and folders and this includes the mail subfolders. The Finder will show all those hidden files and folders once you\u2019re done.
